How much does it cost?
The Breadbox Channel is a free service. The channel program to download here is free. The Breadbox Channel may change these terms at any time.

Any software hitches that you know of?
A big one: This version of the channel program is time locked. That means that it will expire and give us a chance to provide you with an updated, better version.

Any other problems?
Some users may find that the service will reject them. Do not take that personally. Some internet access services reject all users who subscribe to certain access providers because of illegal activities of a single subscriber with that service. The Breadbox Channel cannot do anything about that. In addition, PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS DIRT ON THE INTERNET OVER WHICH BREADBOX HAS NO CONTROL.

What about Error 37?
Error 37 and other errors may be sent by the internet system when you log into The Breadbox Channel. All you can do is try again.

What does the channel program do that Breadbox offers here?
This software enables users with a Brother GeoBook or NewDeal release 3.0 and a connection to the internet through an internet service provider to visit the meeting room of The Breadbox Channel.

How do I download the channel program?
Click on the "I Want It" button; accept when asked whether to "Save to File"; select the "World" folder as the download location of the program.

Where does the channel program go on my computer?
Place the channel program into the World folder of NewDeal release 3.0 or the F: or E: drive of your Brother GeoBook.

Do you have compressed and uncompressed versions of the channel program?
There is a ZIP version available for PC's and an uncompressed version available for Geobook users. PC users may have some success using the uncompressed Geobook version.

How do I install the software?
No installation is required other than placing it in a folder where you can find and start it. You need to have internet access through an internet service provider and your access must already be in good working order. The channel program does not set up your PC, modem, or internet settings.

What name should I select?
Before you log in, you need to enter a name into the login dialog box. Feel free to enter your real name or a screen name. When you connect, your name may be rejected because it may already be in use by another person. Select another name if that happens to you.
