MyTurn.com Signs Letter of Intent to Acquire Breadbox Computer Company Assets...

ALAMEDA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Jan. 28, 2000--MyTurn.com Inc.

(Nasdaq:MYTN), a provider of Internet-based, e-commerce computing products and services, today announced that it has signed a letter of intent to acquire certain assets of the Breadbox Computer Company. Included in the contemplated transaction is all of the company's engineering resources, over 50 software products, and all current and pending software licenses. Subject to entering into a definitive agreement, MyTurn expects the acquisition to close sometime during the next four weeks.

"We are extremely excited about the immediate addition of experienced programmers," said Paul Danner, CEO of MyTurn.com. "By rapidly increasing the size of our development team, and owning instead of licensing these software titles, we'll be able to deliver a superior consumer experience with the GlobalPC."

"By combining our resources with MyTurn.com's existing application software and GEOS license with Geoworks (Nasdaq:GWRX), the value of the whole is greater than the sum of the parts," said Breadbox President & CEO, Frank Fischer. "It's a win-win situation for everybody -- Breadbox, MyTurn, and most of all, the millions of consumers who have been abandoned on the other side of the Digital Divide."
