Breadbox Expands Internet Technology Initiative for GEOS
Hudson, FL, March 15, 1999
Breadbox Computer Company has embarked to expand its GEOS internet technology package to include several new and commonly used internet clients. In addition to revamping the Web Magick 2.0 browser and adding an IRC Chat client, Breadbox will introduce new FTP, Instant Messenger, ICQ, NewsReader and Email clients for the GEOS 3.0 operating system from Geoworks Corporation in Alameda, California.
Breadbox plans on licensing the expanded internet technology to several companies utilizing the GEOS 3.0 operating system, as well as offering individual licenses to existing users.
"We are very excited about adding these new internet technology clients to our offerings for the GEOS 3.0 operating system which will permit users to do perform most functions currently enjoyed by users of other modern operating systems" stated Frank Fischer, President and CEO of Breadbox.
Breadbox expects to have these products completed sometime toward the end of the year.
